Support
Email support@flipcue.app and a human will read it. Include the item, what the app said, and a screenshot if you have one — that is usually enough to sort it out in one reply.
Scanning and results
Where do the prices come from?
From recent sales and current listings across major resale marketplaces. A range from current listings appears first; when FlipCue finds enough recent sales from the last 90 days it replaces the range with those, and the card says “Based on N recent sales (last 90 days)”. When there are too few sales, the listing range stays and the card says so.
The estimate looks wrong
It is an estimate, not an appraisal: condition, completeness and timing move the real number a long way. If the item itself was identified wrongly, tap Not right? Fix it on the result, type what it really is, and FlipCue re-prices it. If the confidence badge read High and the match was wrong, that is a bug worth emailing us about.
It could not identify my item
Get closer, fill the frame, and include any label, tag or maker’s mark. For clothing, add a photo of the brand and size tag when the app offers it. You can also tap the keyboard button and type the brand and what the item is. Items with no branding at all — plain ceramics, unmarked glass, generic textiles — are genuinely hard, and FlipCue reports low confidence rather than guessing.
It says it could not find comparable items
Nothing close enough was found. Try again with a clearer photo of the brand and model, type the item instead, or scan the barcode if it has one. Pro Reseller subscribers can also refresh pricing against live listings.
The verdict says “Your call”
That means it clears the tag price at the middle of the range but not at the low end, or the margin is thin, or the identification is not confident. It is deliberately not a Buy. Look at the low-end number and decide.
Trial and subscriptions
How does the trial work?
Scanning needs a Premium or Pro Reseller subscription. Premium Weekly starts with a 7-day trial for new subscribers through your Apple Account: nothing is charged for 7 days, then it is $7.99 a week unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. The app can remind you 3 days before the trial ends if you ask it to.
What is the difference between Premium and Pro Reseller?
Premium is unlimited scans and full history, at $7.99 a week after a 7-day trial, or $9.99 a month. Pro Reseller ($29.99 a month) adds refreshing prices against live listings, all three marketplaces compared side by side on one card, and CSV export of your whole history.
How do I cancel a subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not by us: open the Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Cancelling there stops any future charge and you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple under their policies, not by us. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
I subscribed on one phone and want it on another
Sign in to the same Apple Account on the other phone and tap Restore on the FlipCue paywall.
Privacy
Do you keep my photos?
No. A photo is sent to identify the item and is not stored. There is no account and no login. See the privacy policy for exactly what is handled.
How do I delete my data?
Your scan history lives only on your phone. Clear it in Settings inside the app, or delete the app. We hold nothing tied to you that could be looked up.
Everything else
Does FlipCue work on Android or iPad?
iPhone only for now, iOS 17 or later.
Is FlipCue connected to eBay, Poshmark or Mercari?
No. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of them. Their names appear only to say whose published fee rates an estimate uses.
I found a bug
Email support@flipcue.app with your iPhone model, the iOS version, and what you were doing. Screenshots help.
